when did she start to sit

At what age did ur baby start to sit, and what did u do to help her                                                                                                                  *thanks everyone 😚

We’ve been propping her up since she was 2 months old. She’s never liked laying down. So was sitting perfectly assisted by 3 months and unassisted by 4/4.5 months.

My daughter sat up independently the day before she turned six months. I just propped  her up a lot and used the sit me up floor seat. I don’t know if tummy time helps but we did a lot of that too.

I believe my daughter was around 4 months old. We started using the mamas and papas activity tray table chair thing around 3 months and I think that it helped.

most babies will sit up around 6 months. if you do prop them up make sure it is with appropriate seating etc to avoid causing long term problems with spine and hips. there is no rush, children do things in their own time. my eldest was 6 months my youngest 4 months. x
