Boy problems

I recently got cut off by some kid I was talking to. I want to say something to him but I do not know how to phase it. He slowly stopped snap chatting me and asking to hangout. We attend the same college and we both have recent ex’s but we got along well. We’re about to go on break for the winter, I’m not expecting a relationship but I also don’t want to feel like I got played. I want to know what I did to have this kid not want to talk to me anymore.
