Headaches brought on by sex

My sex life is great. But it has recently started that when I orgasm I have a shooting pain at the base of my skull which causes me to fall over or off of him it takes about 10 minutes for it to die down to a dull headache and that last for about 24 hours. Has this happened to anyone else? I’m going to talk to my fertility doctor tomorrow. I hope this is just a side effect of the medicine because this sucks!!!!! If I can’t have sex I can’t have a baby😥
