Potty Training yet?

How many July 16 mommies have began potty training? Wondering if I should start with my little guy.

Not yet. I'm just not willing to put both of us under the frustration of pushing her when she's not ready yet. The past week, she has been saying "I pooped" whenever she farts and then cracking up laughing at herself 😂 so who knows, maybe it will be sooner than I expect. But my original plan was to not even bother until she was 2 or older

I thought about it too, but the other day after the bath he ran to the kitchen naked and peed on the floor and didn't even notice he was doing it, so maybe not yet

I don’t think it truly counts as potty training but we have started a few small things. 
When I go to the bathroom and she follows me, I give her a piece of toilet paper and she pretend wipes herself when I wipe and then she throws it in the toilet and flushes. Then we cheer.
When we notice she pooping we say “are you pooping?” and act excited like it’s a good thing. 
Similarly, when she has diaper free time and pees I make sure to call attention to it and make it a very positive thing (even though I have to do cleanup). Like “Pee pee Yay! Good job!” and clap.
I think she’ll be ready to start this summer.

I feel like if you have to ask, it’s probably not time yet. Like another poster said, we are doing little things with potty training. Just not official full blown training. Just getting her familiar with the potty and the process and helping her to become aware of when she is pooping and peeing (in her diaper).  She will pee in her potty occasionally before her bedtime bath, but no other time.  I think we are going to wait a few more months and see about more serious potty training then.
