A dog stole my baby name!

So I haven’t shared my name choice with anyone other than my SO. We decided to keep it between us until the baby came. We chose the name Sloan. If it’s a girl it will be her first name and if it’s a boy it will be his middle name. Anyhoo, my coworker bought a new puppy and told me that she is naming her Sloan!! I could’ve died! So your dog just stole my baby’s name 😂

My SO said it won’t change his mind about the name. We are still using it. But I feel a bit disheartened 😩
