So my little one was born 4 days ago and I’ve been breastfeeding. I thought she was latching well and the nurses at the hospital always praised and never corrected anything we were doing. But yesterday feedings became painful and now both nipples are bleeding. Elleigh (my daughter) even spit up blood last night promoting an ER visit because I’m a paranoid mommy. I want to continue breastfeeding but I don’t want her swallowing blood and it hurts so much.

I feel like I have one job as a mom and I’m already failing my little girl.
