Don't like sex

I am 23 and just started having sex a few weeks ago with this guy. I thought I liked him but now I'm realizing I don't really have feelings for him. We've had sex maybe on five different days, and I still feel like it hurts and I don't feel pleasure. He has a hard time with it because he feels I don't like it. I don't know how long to give it a shot for, because I do want to get to a place where it feels good but I don't want to force myself to do something I don't really like. Any similar experiences?
