My son has been an only child for 8 years, every year asking for a baby brother or sister. So thankful to finally tell him in July he will be a big brother. He has been so protective and loving but lots of attitude too.

I grew up with 6 siblings and loved every minute of it. If I was mad at one sibling I had five others I could hang with. I don’t want 7 kids but I wouldn’t mind 4 or 5!

I was an only child and my mom passed away when I was 1 so it sucked not having someone to  play with...and my cousins and we’re hours away so I want a big family...already have 3 girls so 1 more I’m done...🙃

I was an only child until I was 14 and I didn’t have the greatest childhood because of my parents drug habits. 
My mom had my half brother (clean and sober) when I was 14 and his dad ditched so I have always felt more like a mom to him than a sister.
I’m so excited to give my daughter a sibling, even though they’ll be half siblings I hope they’ll still be able to lean on each other for support.

My baby has 5 other siblings from her dad and a lot t so sure if i am going have any more. I had a rough labor and delivery.

Definitely want my kids to have siblings. Really, it's kinda of selfish. I have always wanted 5 kids, as long as I can remember it's always been 5. So, now as an adult it somehow feels like killing my child if I consider not having 5. I also want to foster when my children are older.

Not only do I want my kids to have siblings, but I want them to have a sibling of the same gender. I know I don’t have any control over that, but I can hope. 🤞🏻 I currently have a little boy and have a baby girl on the way.
I grew up with only brothers and always wanted a sister. I have them now through sisters in law, but (love my brothers as I do) it would have been nice to have a sister growing up.

I grew up like an only child (my half sisters were teenagers when I was born). That and being sick often made it harder to make friends as I got older. I'm so use to being by myself and I don't want that for my little one.

I always think of one guy I dated who was the weirdest, chronic liar, most offensive/creepy person ever. For some reason I hold him in my mind as the classic example of an only child (even though I know his issues are just personality issues, lol). I can't get it out of my head though for whatever reason. My best friend is also an only child and turned out fine, but in my mind I always think that only children end up weird. Expecting my surprise second baby in feb but always said my first would be my only!
