Morphine. She found a damn morphine on the floor and ate it. My father has numerous health issues and it's been a huge fear of mine since we she's been around him that she would find a pill and eat it. Well it happened today. My mom was moving our furniture and it fell out of the recliner without her noticing. A few hours later I was playing with her and she ran over to the chair and just as I noticed the pill, she ate it. I ran over to her to get it out of her mouth but it was already gone. We tried gagging her but she wouldn't throw up. We rushed her over to emergency care and they quickly took her and gave her medication to make her vomit immediately. They got the pill and gave her toxiban to get rid of everything else that was in her system. They said she would have been dead within hours if we didn't take her in. I feel so emotional and so happy that she's OK. We just rescued her a few months ago and she's still a puppy. She brought me out of my depression and gives me so much joy every single day. I can't imagine my life without herThis is my bf holding her right now.

*Edit* I had no idea so many people would get so uptight about me calling my pup my baby and start trying to invalidate my experience. I clearly explained she was a pup and included photos for a reason.
