Frequent nose bleeds?

I’m 25 weeks pregnant and the last few weeks I’ve been getting bloody noses every day sometimes twice a day. I live in ND where we have dry winters but I’ve only had 2 bloody noses before in my life (I’m 22), and one of those was because I ran into a wall. That’s why I don’t think it would be weather related and I have humidifiers on each level of my house. They last about 10 minutes before they let up. I read it could be the increased blood flow but it also said the occasional nose bleed is harmless. I’m getting them every single day. Is this a cause for concern? Should I call my OB just to be sure?

do you bruise easily? and before your pregnancy, we’re your periods heavy? i have a blood disorder called von willebrands, and the first sign i had was daily nose bleeds. von willebrands is not a huge deal, it just means your platelets don’t  clot your blood fast enough. you can get a simple blood test to see if you have it. or just research it and see if that fits your symptoms.

I live in Chicago. I get nose bleeds almost daily now. My dr said it’s because of increased blood volume and dryness, and dehydration. Make sure you talk to your doctor too, but make sure you are drinking enough water. I am planning on getting a warm air humidifier also.

I got them a lot during my fist and second trimesters but now that I am in my third trimester I don't get them anymore! Hang in there!

I know nose bleeds is a common occurrence during pregnancy but it won't hurt to call your drs office and double check
