4cm 90% effaced...

I had to go to L&D; last night because of no fetal movement and having contractions for 4 hours... I was in shock when they told me I was 4cm dilated and 90% effaced! Doctor's visit just a week and a half prior I was still closed and showing no signs. They kept me overnight to see if my body would progress on its own and the contractions went away in the morning. Boo. Anyone else that far along? How soon did you go in to labor afterwards? I'm currently 36 weeks 5 days with my second child.

Btw, baby was perfectly healthy! I hadn't felt movement in a few hours and the second they hooked me up to the monitor, she started doing gymnastics! Already a trouble maker 😂
