Crush problems! (so confused)

So id been crushing on this guy at my school for awhile. I finally grew the balls to text him a couple days ago and it went pretty well. We got quite flirty and he definitely sounded interested. He even sent me a pics (just shirtless mirror pics and some imprints in sweats) It was so hot and I was so happy. But then the next day I was hoping he's text me and he didn't so I texted hey again. He answered later and I asked wyd and he didnt open it for like 17 hours. The daybafter that I texted again and he answered once then disappeared AGAIN. Idk what his deal is but i really don't wanna give up on this. Please help!
