Bleeding after sex with IUD

I’ve had my copper IUD for about 2 years now but have only had sex about 5 times after getting it inserted until recently. I have been dating someone for about 3 months now and we have sex weekly. I noticed that I spot after sex every time and occasionally get painful cramps the day after. The cramps are extremely painful leading me to feel like I have to faint. Is this normal?
