2nd pregnancy..Take our daughter to our 1st ultrasound or not?

I'm pregnant with my 2nd baby. Tomorrow I will be having our first ultrasound... We thought about taking our daughter to share this moment with us. is that a good idea or not?

I wouldn't. If (god forbid) a concern did come up, the last thing you need is a fussy/confused child asking a bunch if questions or being disruptive while you're trying to deal with that.

How old is she? I didn’t take my daughter to our first she was 19 months old. We did take her to the anatomy scan she didn’t care much about it even though obviously there was something to see on the screen, she ended up getting fussy and bored being stuck on my husbands lap. If she is young I would just keep it you and your S/O and show her pictures after, she may get bored and cause a distraction for you two. Of course you know your daughter better than I.

depends on her age and how well she behaves in public.  if she is generally well behaved and is old enough to look with her eyes and not her hands, take her.   my sis in law took her daughter to her ultrasound.  she is 5.  it went well.

Not unless your significant other was there to watch her. Mine came wifjnan it was  a disaster bc she wanted to touch the ultrasoind machine the whole Times and then had a fit
