Wanted to update everyone!! After a long Monday night with cervidil (5pm-5am), only ended up being fingertip dilated but cervix was nice and ripe.
Started pitocin at 7am, started having contractions, pumped up pit to 18ml/hr 😳 doc broke my water around 800am. After that it was insane. Crazy painful contractions lasting 60 seconds, less than a minute apart. Ended up being close to 5cm dilated then I was begging for the epidural. Pit plus the doc breaking my water made everything progress quickly and my body got thrown into some major contractions. After the epidural with the pit I was fully dilated at 320, and started pushing!! At 407pm our little baby girl was born! Everyone meet Charlotte Reese Holliser, born 8lb, 4oz, 20.5 inches long! 👑 ended up with a few tears and some abrasions but she was well worth it. We are both doing well, she is taking to breastfeeding like a champ, my nipples are a little flat but she latches on so easily with a shield.
