My first pregnancy ended with a c section due to my labor failing to progress because my son was in a posterior position. My hospital that I delivered at lets midwives deliver VBACs however the practice that my midwife is at won’t allow her to because they say she isn’t qualified and wouldn’t know what to do in an emergency. That really doesn’t make sense to me because there is always a doctor on call at the hospital. Seems like if there was an emergency they’d just let that doctor step in.

Is there anyone here who has had a midwife deliver their child via VBAC?
