Which name? I think Abram James sounds better but Timothy is my FIL's name. There's not any other good family names on my husband's side and our first has a middle name from my side of the family.

I say if you want to name the baby after your fil, do it. It's a good name and doesn't sound bad at all. Abram James does resound better, but if my husband wanted to name his child after someone in his family, I'd let him. 😊

I like them both, but for some reason I can’t get past Abram. Like I keep adding a syllable and making it Abraham. I can’t do the name Abram.

I voted “comment” I think you should just go with Timothy if it’s more meaningful. Middle names aren’t that big of a deal in life or in general so we always choose to go for meaning over what sounds best.
