TTC after C-section

My son is 3 months and I love him to death, but he’s giving me baby fever! I know I’m supposed to wait a year before ttc again so my scar can heal, but what would happen if I got pregnant sooner, like around 6 months? Also, is it harder to conceive again after a c-section? It took my husband and I almost a year to conceive our son, and we’re not getting any younger! I’m 34 and he’s almost 44, and we want at least 2 more kids before they’re wheeling us into the senior care facility.
