membrane sweep

I'm 39 weeks today and had my doctor appointment. I asked for a membrane sweep and she said she would do it but I'm not sure she did. She checked me and I am 4cm dilated and 50% effaced but not sure if she did the sweep as I didn't feel anything different than the usual check. I've been leaking some watery fluids here and there but no blood or mucus. I'm a little crampy but that's pretty normal after being checked. Does a membrane sweep feel any different than your usual check? Anyone go into active labor after getting it done?
