Extreme pain after membrane sweep
So I got a membrane sweep yesterday morning at 10am and doctor told me if I feel any cramping what so ever to come in to L&D.; About 30 minutes after I started having mild back pain that was slowly getting worse. Called L&D; and they instructed me to come in and they'll monitor me. Small BH here and there and they gave me a shot for the pain which helped a LOT. Well the shot started wearing off a few hours later and the pain was slowly progressing again, it really only felt good to walk but once I sat in the bed I could feel it again. I'm the 5 1/2 hours I was in L&D; I only progressed 1/2 a cm which put me at 4 1/2. The nurse told me I can take Tylenol and ice my back. I did this at home and neither worked! Oh, she also said I can come in once my water breaks. They sent me home at 6pm. Upon returning home my back pain got worse and worse but I was finally able to fall asleep. After waking up 4 or 5 times from the pain it's so intense at times I've been crying on and off for the last 45 minutes with no water broken. It's currently 3:30am here and on the brink of calling L&D; since I can't sleep due to pain. Any advice on what I should do? I'll also add that this is my first pregnancy.
