Why did you use the middle name “Rose”?

I have seen 2 threads in the past week or so disparaging the use of the name “Rose” as a middle name. People are literally disgusted by the frequency in which this name appears. SO, I’m curious- what is the real reason why so many people choose this name for their baby girls? 🌹

Naming our little girl Elisabeth rose, my husband planted a rose bush for our angel babies but it hadn’t given any roses & the day we found out we were expecting our rainbow baby we went out after some rain and found this. My husband had a feeling it was a little girl so he chose rose since the beginning ❤️

Anyone who has some sort of adverse reaction to such a lovely name probably prefers names such as Paisleighanna, Lakelyn, and Jaxxson. 🙄

I'm one of those people you speak of, but I preface it with having experienced poor associations with the name... two family members and one of my DHs previous interests.  
So, for me that name (or a name containing it/variant of it) leaves a hugely sour taste in my mouth. 
Regardless of that, it's our choice, if you love it then go for it.

My daughter is 4. I loved the name Rose. When I think Rose, I think beauty. My grandmother was very sick at the time and she loved yellow roses. I asked her between a couple of names and she chose Rose. So now I have a little Miss Hayley Rose. My husband calls her little Rose as a nickname.

We are naming our baby girl Briar Rose-Leone. Rose goes with Briar and I️ wanted to honor my mom and gg so we did Leone. I️ thought for a first name Briar-Rose was to much. So 2 middle names work better for us. Rose is a pretty name and can go with so many names ❤️🌹

If I am ever get blessed with having a girl, I would have her middle name be Rose after my father Robert who passed away a few years ago. Not into Roberta 🤷🏽‍♀️  the name rose also flows so well with sooo many names.

I like rose because it’s my grandmothers name. I don’t have a girl and I’m having a boy now, but if I used rose, it would be because of my grandmother.

I’m also not concerned if my baby has the same middle name as fifty other kids, my middle name is super common but I never cared haha I figure it’s mostly just for paperwork anyway 🤷‍♀️

I'm not totally sure why. Mine is Rose, everyone that I have told is like "awe so cute" blah blah. idk, my parents chose it because I had a "rose petal" on the back of my neck at birth.
