When is mirena effective?
If it’s inserted within 7 days of starting your period it immediately effective. Well I got mine inserted the 7th day so my doctor told me it was effective immediately... until I realized I started my period a day before I thought I did. So I got it inserted the 8th day. My husband and I had sex and he finished inside of me. It’s only been 3 days since I had it inserted 😭
