I don't want the father of my child to die!

someone please help!! my boyfriend just got a moped to get to and from work and with that he got a motorcycle helmet that he just had to have. Well he's now refusing to wear the helmet because it's a little uncomfortable. He doesn't like that it's slightly... tight? If anyone has worn a motorcycle helmet before then you know what i mean. they are made to be a little tight so they don't cone off if you get into an accident. well he doesn't like it and now, because we live in Florida and Florida drivers are nuts and act like they're the only ones one the road, I'm terrified he's going to get hit and he won't have that helmet on to protect him! I don't want the father of my child to die!! someone please give me some way I can get him to wear it. I'm willing to try anything. this is extremely important to me. my uncle died in a motorcycle accident bevause he want wearing a helmet!
