Toxic mother

Anyone else have a mother who just loves to ruin even your happiest days? Such as your engagement (she asked to whom?? We've been together 3 years, what do you mean to whom??). Christmas, because we have plans to go to my fiance's as well so therefore we can't possibly do both 😩 (insert sarcasm). Moving in with my fiance, cause I "should be married first, you never know what he might do to you."

When I asked her to "be a mom to me and please be apart of my wedding process" her response was 'I'll try". Well damn...

I can't handle the negative mindset and being constantly let down and finally told her to stay away until she gets help, mental help. Which I am in no way putting down those who need mental help, I for one, see a therapist, mostly because of her narcissistic behavior that I've been living with for.. well forever.

I just need some advice I guess. I tried reaching out to her, tried forgetting and forgiving. She just loves to be a downer. I'm devastated she's ruined yet another holiday.
