Is BC Mandatory?

Im already 18 and have been active with my bf for quite a while now. I’ve thought about taking birth control but I’m afraid it’ll throw my period off schedule along with other side effects that most people get from taking BC. 😅

Its not mandatory but if you are sexually active, young or simply dont want to get pregnant at the moment then you should consider taking it. You should talk to your doctor about your options. There are many different types of birth control.

It's not mandatory, but if you're sexually active then it's definitely a good idea. I'd rather have irregular periods than an unwanted pregnancy. Btw I'm on birth control and I don't have periods at all which is even better

Absolutely not mandatory. It obviously helps tremendously with preventing pregnancy, but there are other steps to take in helping that without being on birth control. In my opinion, birth control is so extremely unnatural and puts a women’s body in a place where it wasn’t intended to be. Granted, some women need it to help balance their body, but other than that, I don’t think it’s good for your body. It’s way too known to mess up a women’s body to ever gain my trust. But do your own research to determine if it’s right for you or not.
