How do I tell her? 😔

I’m 11w 5d pregnant, I’m telling family tomorrow (Christmas Day) and my best friends on Boxing Day. One of my best friends has been struggling to conceive for 4/5 years and I don’t know how to tell her. 2 of her other friends (I don’t know) fell pregnant a few months ago and she seemed a little down about it. I really don’t want to upset her but I can’t keep it a secret any longer. Has anyone had this problem, what should I do? Any tips would be grateful thank you.

Tell her beforehand so she has time to react before you announce in a group.

I was one of those people that was in her shoes. honestly just announce it and even if she is sad that it isn't jer she will be happy for you. infertility is a strange beast.

I’ve been TTCing for four years & my best friend got pregnant within 3 months of trying. Being on the other side of the picture, it will be so easier for her if you tell her yourself. Hearing it second hand from someone else is the worst feeling. Honestly she will probably be a mix of emotions. I was so excited for my friend, but so upset it wasn’t me. I wouldn’t trade her daughter for the world though. She just turned a month old and is   Incredibly precious to me. I would just have a one on one conversation with her, let her know from you and not another person. After the conversation ask her how she is feeling. Their may be tears from both of you but she will understand. I hope this helps. ♥️
