Please help!!!!!!

My son is 3 days old and my milk came in pretty much right away. From around 2pm till 10pm he’s usually pretty sleepy and goes long stretches (2-4 hours) between nursing.

It’s now 8pm and since about 6pm I have been soooo full. I keep trying to get him to wake up to eat but have only been successful in getting him to latch for about 5-10 min before he passes out again.

I’m nervous to pump thinking it’ll make me continue to over produce.

Am I right in being nervous about that? Should I pump? Or are there other ways to relieve this pressure? I only have about 2-3 hours before he should start his cluster feeding. From 10pm till early afternoon he will eat about every hour for at least 15 min on each breast
