Should I try to have a relationship with my sisters in 2018 ?

My sisters on my Dad's side use to take me in and spend time with me when I was young. Drama happened between my sister on my Dad side and my sister in my Mom's side, after that I was not taken in by them as much. It became like a war between my siblings and I had to pick a side, I chose my siblings on my Mom's side. My sister on my Dad's side told me at around 18 " If you want to have a relationship with us, you're going to have to do it. " Well now I'm 27 and I'm thinking about it but my sisters are nosy as H.e.l.l. and do talk about people I'm also not sure if they are over the drama that happened. What would you do ?
