Mirena?

Anyone have any experience with Mirena? I’m 10 weeks postpartum, and had it inserted four weeks ago. Since getting it put in, my body has felt like crap. Aches, chills, nausea, but no fever. My OBGYN prescribed me antibiotics because of sinus infection symptoms as well but I still feel awful. I have an appointment in a couple days and I think I’m going to have it removed.

I had it and was in constant pain, cysts, cramps, everything. Tried to wait it out to see if my body adjusted and it never did so had it removed after only 10 months.

i’m currently on it. irregular cycles (some spotting, some pretty heavy but still not enough to soak a pad) & terrible cramps randomly. my emotions are out of whack (a lot more than usual) & my pms symptoms are worse because of it. i get cramps after sex a lot & even after eating sometimes. it’s been two years & i’m taking mine out next week

I had it, mild cramping for the first month or so, But I bled... heavy for like 6months! I will never have another placed!

I had it for the maximum amount of time I could. I had really terrible cramps in the beginning. Like, the worst of my life (it's what I tried to prepare myself for with contractions when I gave birth because they were the worst stomach cramps I'd ever felt- contractions never even got as bad as they did!) but they went away after a week or two. I really liked having it but everyone is different. I never had issues with it after the beginning cramps.
