When did you start?

I’m 12 weeks, and haven’t bought a single thing and in no rush to go out and start buying things for the baby yet... even though I am excited! It’s my first, and to be honest I don’t know when to start? Sounds silly I know 😂 How many weeks did you start buying clothes/bottles/pram/cot etc?

I didn't start until 32 weeks. Seems ridiculous to have stuff sit around for months - I'd rather the money sit & earn interest than gather dust in a closet.

I bought the crib before I knew the gender. I bought other stuff after 20 weeks when I found out the gender.

A lot of women wait! I went to a second hand store whenever I was 14 weeks just because we were traveling through the area and hubby ended up picking out a bunnnnnchhh of boy clothes. He’s lucky we found out we are having a boy lol. We bought a crib and dresser when I was 16 weeks because they were on sale. Surprisingly since finding out the gender we haven’t bought too much lol. We went about it a weird way I guess.

I bought maybe a few gender neutral onesies before 12 Weeks but I was reluctant because I still thought it was fake. And then we actually got into it more once we knew what we were having

I started at 8 weeks but a lot of women wait until their first trimester is over or after they find out the gender at the 20 week appointment
