How far apart are your kids? 🤰🏼

What are the pros and cons that you’ve found having kids close in age? Or far apart? I just started my period for the first time 6 months postpartum and it’s got me thinking about family planning. 
As much as I currently have baby fever I also want to enjoy the time I have with just my daughter. I’m currently thinking getting her out of diapers then another one!

My first two boys were 23 months apart. I got pregnant shortly after my first horns first birthday. The first couple months were hard to breastfeed and actor to a newborn when I had a toddler running around getting into everything and potty training but how close they are is SO worth it. 
My third came five years later and that was easy in some ways because my older two entertained each other more and were old enough to do things more independently but the age gap makes it challenging when the older two can do things that my now one year old tries to keep up with. They’re just on different levels and youngest gets left out a lot and gets upset when older two run off to play. I am expecting our fourth in April and the younger two will only be 17 months apart so I expect it to be hard for awhile but eventually they’ll become BFF like our first two. 🤞🏼

So far my son is 18 months and my daughter is two months. He definitely is happy to have a sister and he gives her hugs and kisses! He tries to help and everything! The only con so far would be if you don’t let them help the will resent or be jealous of the baby. So if you have them close in age keep them involved in the process

my two girls are 1 year and 5 months apart. 5 years old and 4 years old and they fight eachother alot lol. there bery different from eachother and now im expecting he should be here by jan 12.

My kids are all going to be 4 years apart. I like the gap because it gives you time with each kid for them to be the "baby" my 4 year old is now starting to do everything for himself and doesn't need me to baby him. His little sister is due to arrive Feb 12th and I think it'll be a perfect transition time for him to be more of a big boy. He will be home with me and baby as he doesn't go to daycare and he will be my big helper.

My daughter is 5 and I just got a bfp, she’ll be 6 before this one is born (hopefully). I would have wanted them closer but I think it’ll work out well actually. She’s much more self sufficient now and with her being in school during the day I’ll get some alone time with the new baby. I’d like one more when new baby is about 3.

My first is 2.5. Birthday of August 6 2015, number 2 is due August 29! So they'll be exactly 3 years a part!

My daughter is 7 and son is 5! I would have had my second sooner but it just didn’t work out that way! They are 2.5 years apart. They are seriously the best of friends... they have their moments but look out for each other and it has actually worked out perfectly. Now I’m starting over again and I’m 26 weeks with baby number 3 which I actually wanted because my other 2 are now in school full time and are pretty self sufficient lol they are so excited and I just know they will be a huge help!
