coffee?

what's your opinion on drinking coffee while pregnant ? i don't drink it often but i bought one of the starbucks coffees while at work and my coworker wouldn't leave me alone about it . i know alots not okay but was anyone told to avoid it completely ?

I would totally have a glass of red wine, but not a Dunkin Donuts coffee.

I can’t explain it.  It just feels healthier to me.

I use caffeineinformer.com to track how much caffeine is in my drinks. You should stick to under 200mg a day and this website helps a ton!!

250 mg or less is safe in a day. thats 2 cups of coffee or 5 cups of tea as long as its not super caffeinated like Oolong.  i drink coffee almost daily..healthy baby. i am 31w6d.

I always avoid caffeine during pregnancy. I worry to much about the side effects of different food/drinks on my baby. I have heard, like with wine, that a little every once in awhile is okay, but I prefer not to take the risk.

I stayed away from Starbucks but I had Tim Hortons (I'm in Canada) and instant coffee. Just one small of Tims or 2 cups max of the keurig. In the early stages of my pregnancy up til about 5 months, I only drank decaf.

I drank Starbucks all the time with my first kid and she seems okay 12 years later. I couldn't stand the smell so I never had it with my 2nd. I crave it daily now with my 3rd. I usually get a Starbucks in the morning and brew some decaf at home when I want more.

I drank moderate amounts of coffee throughout my pregnancy and have a happy, healthy little girl. I always tried to limit myself to no more than 2 caffeinated beverages a day. Sometimes I had more, sometimes I had less though.
