I feel better.
3rd month TTC and I just started feeling so discouraged. I know that every woman is different and we all have separate experiences with TTC. This isn't about that.
This is about me feeling uninformed and lost in a sea of misinformation and doubt.
My husband and I went in for an appointment and labs from my OBGYN.
We had questions and would rather know and prepare now, than to fly blind.
Here is what I learned...
1) Preseed is not necessary. With foreplay and/or a female orgasm prior to penetration, a natural lube can be created that resembles the ideal EWCM for baby making.
2) BD every other day is best.
3) Having PCOS or a thyroid issue or a bum ovary (of which I have PCOS) doesn't put you out of the running. Not even close.
4) Don't be scared to ask. My doctor said she would give me any test I wanted and discuss any fertility drugs I wanted if it put my mind at ease. She said it is my body and I know it best. My husband and I were there for over an hour and everyone was so helpful. Hubby and I left laughing and feeling so much better.
5) Put down the device. The Glow community is awesome. WebMd is awesome. The internet is awesome. But no one can tell you worth a lick any concrete information about you and your situation for certain. If you are truly concerned about something, ask a professional. Listen to your body. Step away from the screen. Enjoy your life.
And most importantly...
