What do true contractions feel like?

I can't figure out if I'm having contractions or just braxton hicks, it honestly feels like I have stomach ache but it's this tightening sensation in my stomach that's kind of dull and it radiates sort of to my back and is putting pressure on my bladder, it's making me feel like I have to pee! But I don't know what this is! They feel like menstrual cramps but more worse....
 Anyone feel this before?

Braxton hicks will stop once you change position. and do not get worse real contractions don't go away and intensify with each contraction.its never a bad idea to get monitored if you think your in labor.

They feel the exact same to me. The difference between them is, that braxton hicks don't get regular and usually don't get stronger. Real contractions get stronger and longer and more regular over time. Also if you take a warm bath, braxton hicks will go away, real contractions will get stronger. But you don't have to go in to the hospital until your contractions are 2-3 minutes apart and last for 45-60 seconds. I don't think they'd stop labour at 36 weeks anymore as you are almost full term

What your having sounds like Braxton hicks. Real contractions are much more intense and you usually can’t talk/walk through them. Braxton hicks usually will go away if you change position or take a warm bath.
