Best product to prevent stretch marks ?

I'm a first time mom & not sure what to buy to prevent stretch marks. I have used cocoa butter on my hips during puberty and that didn't help at all. any suggestions?

There's nothing you can do to prevent stretch marks. It's genetic. I did nothing and didn't get any, some women practically bathe in stuff for prevention and get them horribly.

Unfortunately There is nothing you can really to other than be careful not to gain weight to quickly or lose it quickly. It’s just genetics but I don’t think it hurts to use olive oil and coconut oil nightly.

I think it’s genetic but I still moisturize my tummy anyway. I use Bio Oil and so far no stretch marks. I’m 38 weeks pregnant. I hear you’ll get them if you (1) gain weight too fast (2) don’t moisture tummy  (3) don’t drink enough water. So try avoid doing all that.

Like the others said, you really can’t prevent them. However, if you do get them, in my experience, they fade quite a bit after you have the baby. I was lucky in that I got a few towards the end of my pregnancy, but they’re almost unnoticeable now. I did rub coconut oil on my tummy and boobs almost every day and if nothing else it soothes the itching that accompanies the stretching.

You can't prevent them. If you do or don't get them has to do with genetics. Bio oil is very good in taking care of them once they are there though. I feel like they faded almost completely with bio oil

Pure cocoa butter (it will be solid and need to be melted to apply) and vitamin E oil 2x daily. Eat healthy. Drink TONS of water. At least half you body weight in ounces per day. People will say your predisposed to them if you mother had them, but this isn’t always the case. My mom and MIL both got stretch marks from pregnancy. Me and my sister in law (she had twins) didn’t get any stretch marks by doing the following.
