Fertility tea questions!

So I recently started drinking fertility tea once or twice a day. I started AF 8 days ago and it has yet to subside. It was getting light today until I drank my fertility tea 3 hours before bed and now it's heavy again. My periods normally only lasts 4 days at the max. I have not had a period this long ever in my life. I'm worried that maybe I shouldn't be drinking this tea qhile ob my period or if the tea is suppose to do this. Please someone shine a little light on this for me! I'm so confused!
