Acid reflux and heartburn

What is everyone taking for acid reflux? My doctor is kind of wishy washy when I ask. I've tried Gaviscon. It didn't help my troubles and became more like a laxative (which thankfully I don't need). I tried Maalox and that didn't touch it. I'm also having pain in my back here and there between the lowest part of my shoulder blades. Doctor again doesn't seem concerned at all and had no insight for me but I wonder if it's just the heartburn and acid reflux since your stomach is pushed to a totally different location. Does anyone else have these issues? I need some relief!! Also I'm 30+4 with a very normal, non risk pregnancy.
