Venting Ranting and Bittersweet

So this morning my dad called and told me my grandma passed. I knew it was coming but didnt think it would be so soon. Not even an hour after this my work calls me to come in I say what happened and they still want me in so I said I'd think about it. How would you guys feel? Or what would you guys do?

But I tell my SO whats going on and he calls me 30 minutes later to only say he'll call back. An HOUR later I get a call from him to say baby I'm coming home you dont have to suffer alone its okay. I mind you he's never met her because of the condition shes in and I didn't want him to be scared or nervous about anything. He comes home and gets me food to help me and comforts me and tells me to not worry hes gonna be here no matter what. Sorry this is so long and crazy I just need some words of encouragement to help me through these rough times thanks guys. Love you guys in advance.
