Hair as a comforter

My LO has started using my hair as a comforter! He will fall asleep holding it and will play with it when he's cuddling me. I don't mind most of the time but sometimes he doesn't know his own strength and gives it a good pull!

I was hoping to catch it early before he gets bigger and stronger, so has anyone got any tips on how to distract him away from it!?

I have tried, since birth, all sorts of blankets and teddies and he just isn't interested in using anything as a comforter. Only my boobs or hair!
