What is this?!

My daughter has this dry red spot by her shoulder and I don’t know what it could be. It’s been there for maybe about two weeks? I apply coconut oil on it every night and it’s still super dry. I’ve inspected the whole rest of her body and she doesn’t have it anywhere else.  HELPP 😭😭😭

It could be eczema and she’ll probably need something stronger or possibly ringworm. I’d call your ped and describe it to make sure.

My dd has that on her chest and back. Our ped said put ointment on it vassoline (spelling is wrong I hope you can figure out what I’m talking about) on it a few times a day  It went away but she has white spots where it was

It’s ringworm, you can put lotrimin antifungal (generic is clotrimazole) and it should go away within 2-3 days. Just make sure if you touch it or your baby touches it you wash your hands with an antibacterial soap or hand sanitizer because it is contagious. 😋

My son has two little patches like this. Does your baby drool a lot? My son constantly has soaked bibs and shirts so I think that’s the cause. I’ve been using the Aveeno nighttime eczema balm and it helped a lot.
