Does anyone own a mini crib?

I'm thinking about getting a mini crib for space saving purposes. I just don't know if i would use the same mattress as a regular crib? What about the bedding? I know I can "Google" it but I wanted to see if other moms have used it and what they think of it.

We bought a mini crib from target.com . It's much smaller then a standard crib but was perfect for what we needed it for. I don't think you are supposed to use them past 6-8 months but if you google, you will find a lot who have used it the duration their child was in a crib. A regular mattress and bedding won't fit, it's smaller. We bought a seperate mattress then what came with the crib because the mattress was thin and cheap. We had kids really close together so we used the mini crib for six months on baby until older brother was ready for a big bed. Then baby went to standard crib.

It is a different mattress. I know that pottery barn sells one with the mattress for $399
