When did your periods become somewhat consistent with Skyla??

Question

So I'm really wanting answers from people who use Skyla, the other hormonal iuds are fine but it would answer my question better. Also please keep the comments positive. I'm not asking to hear a lot of
Crap about Skyla.
I just want to know how long before your periods worked them selfs out before. 
I know everyone is different but hearing other people's stories would be great!
I've been on my period since the 17th I think? I've had the iud for over 4 months. However this is my second period with it.
ALSO!!! IF YOUR PERIODS WERE IRREGULAR BEFORE HOW DID SKYLA EFFECT THEM???

i was irregular, went on the pill became regular after stopping the pill. now with skyla I don't get it at all

I had irregular periods before Skyla, even when on the pill. I would have no bleeding for 3 or 4 months, then bleed for 3 days, then start my period again a few weeks later and it last 5-7 days. I could never predict it. My gyno knew this, so when I decided on Skyla, she had me take a pee test that same day to rule out pregnancy. I still hadn't gotten my period after about 4 months, so the day before it was inserted, I had to get a blood test. Not even an hour after the blood test, I started my period. I've had Skyla for about 7 months now and I haven't had a period since the time of insertion.

I was on depo so I didn’t have periods for about 2 - 2 1/2 Years. This change to a period was a mighty adjustment. Now that I have had Skyla for over a little over six months, I am learning my “regular periods” are every 3 weeks but are light.

i had irregular periods for 7 years. bleeding for 13 days at a time then not bleeding for 5 days. then again. it took about 6 months with skyla for my periods to regulate again, and even then i got my period every 3 weeks, not “once a month”

I had super heavy and irregular ones before! After o had mine implanted my periods stoped all together about 2 months after having it! It’s amazing and it’s complete normal
