Just something I found interesting.

This is a smartphone ultrasound machine and app. Expenctant mothers would love to have one of these! See you baby anytime? Awesome! Unfortunately these are no longer for sale. You can write a letter to the company, but that's about it.

Why? The only reason I can think of is because they want you to pay for an ultrasound. Don't get me twisted, I'm not saying that you shouldn't have a medical professional check up on your baby throughout the pregnancy, I personally don't think that is smart. However, I do recognize that there are people with religious views against modern medicine who will not see a doctor. Those moms use midwives or go it alone and they should be able to see their babies too. This is America. There are also moms who want to have their regular checkups with their obgyn and also want to see the baby when they are at home. And there are also moms who are afraid they can't afford a doctor so they just don't go, hoping for the best. Maybe if they could see their baby, they would grow more concerned (as parents do) and seek medical advice. Maybe there are moms who are considering abortion and if they looked at their baby more often they would choose otherwise. Seeing things makes things real.

I guess I just think it's stupid that we cant have this option.
