Breathing treatment?

I’m 27 weeks tomorrow and I have slight asthma. I am very prone to bronchitis. I started off the day with a sore throat and I’ve been coughing all day and now I’m wheezing and it’s making me cough more. Is it safe for me to do a breathing treatment with albuterol?

My doctor advised this when I had bronchitis and asked about using an inhaler, "it's better to breathe and live, than not breathe and die". Are steroids recommended while pregnant, no but neither is dying because you can't breathe. He just said don't abuse the inhaler

I used mine my.entire pregnancy If u need it use it! then after pregnancy talk about other asthma control option I'm on a steroid and I never have to use my inhalor!

Yes. I hadn't had to use an inhaler in tears bc mine was asthma/allergy and through shots my allergies had gotten so much better, but when I got pregnant with my first I had to go to my doc and get an inhaler again bc my wheezing had gotten bad again.
