Contraceptive Choice

I have been on birth control pills for years but I always forget to take them, or I take them late. My boyfriend has been talking to me about getting the IUD or the implant. Can some girls on here talk to me about their experiences using these different forms of contraception?

I obviously am not ready and do not want to get pregnant at this time in my life, but I like having my period every month (weird, I know) so that I know that I’m not pregnant. Thank you in advance for your opinions and thoughts!!
