Our baby was never found, but ruled ectopic because my HCG wouldn't go down. I had the MTX shot on Sept. 11. Bled a week later. Had a normal, 34-day period. And we conceived on the cycle after that -- early Nov. Part of me was disappointed we didn't conceive earlier. But seeing a negative pregnancy test + HCG blood draw helped ease my anxiety that the first nightmare was finally over. I was much more mentally prepared to accept that I was healthily pregnant afterward.
