large blood clot in the middle of the night?!

okay so I woke up in the middle of the night and felt some small cramps. my normal period is extreme cramps the first couple days and super heavy. and at night not really too much but theres some. Well tonight (at 1 am for me), I woke up and went to the bathroom. well when i looked at my pad (I personally cant stand tampons) I saw a blood clot the was larger then my normal clots that i get and i normally dont get them at night. This has really kind of freaked me out, could this be anything other than just a normal healthy blood clot? i dont know where else to ask or who to ask. I currently have to find a new doctor so im wondering if i need to go in asap or not. please and thank you. the pictures below are the clot. the first is as it was and the second is when i tried to look at it more.
