Last period after birth control

I was taking a generic of ortho tricyclin birth control for years. My husband and I are ttc and I stopped taking my birth control back in September/early October. I had one normal period since stopping, but now I am Day 58.. I am not sure if I should contact my dr or if this really is normal? Three negative pregnancy tests, and lots of research tell me that it can be normal to miss for up to 3 months after stopping birth control. Has anyone experienced this? (Side note: my dr had told me plenty of women get pregnant immediately stopping birth control, so we didn't stop 3+ months in advance of wanting to get pregnant) :/
