New home! New start! New life!

My husband and I purchased our new home in early December this year! I am over the moon to start our family here. I was recently diagnosed with pcos and started metformin. After 190 days without a period AF finally showed up!!! I can't decide if I should try for the clomid since my obgyn wasn't very helpful in terms of letting me know if I was ovulating or not. I'm currently on 2000 mg of metformin. The amount of stress I was under was quite bad. I'm no longer speaking to my mother-in-law since she's disrespected and humiliated me in front of my husband about having a hard time having kids. That's besides the point. What are your thoughts on clomid????? or was metformin enough to get your bfp??? Tomorrow is the start of a whole new year and I'm ready to begin our new lives!
