when did you get admitted?

ive been 3cm for over a week now having small contractions here and there . can I go to the hospital and have things sped up? how far along dilated were you when you got admitted?

I’m pretty sure they won’t admit you unless you are over your due date or gave a scheduled induction

If your water breaks they will admit you and possible speed up the labor if baby had 1st bowel movement already. My 1st I was admitted at 3cm but my water had broken.

Yeah if you aren't in labor they won't admit you like that. You need to be having active contractions almost strong enough to where you can't talk through them. They need to be ( my dr says ) 5-1-1 . Contractions every 5 mins , lasting 1 min, for 1 hr long.

They won’t admit you until 4 cm or you are past your due date with a scheduled induction.
